How Maui learned about the solar system!!!

Maui looked up at the shiny whetu and sighed.

“What if there were other atarangis like ours?”He wondered.

So he turned into a talon fame and flew up to space.

He saw millions of shiny whetu.

Only a few atarangis surrounded him.

The space taniwha came and said…

“Hello little maui how are you?”

Maui tried to respond but he couldn’t!

There was no air in space!*

The space taniwha turned to seven girls.

“Waiti,Waita,Waipuna-a-rangi,Tupu a nuku,Tupu-a-rangi,Uru-a-rangi,Matariki

Come and build a helmet out of moondust!”

So the sisters did what they were told.

Some time later Maui could talk again…

“Thank you everyone I came here to learn about the whetu and the planets.”

After a while Maui had gathered all the facts he needed.

“Thank you everyone.We should call it the solar system!”

Maui said excitedly.

Everyone agreed so Maui went Home(Earth)

And so everyone learned about the new solar system!!!
